| i forgot ,travell speed 5m/min(200inch/min),cut 0,7m/min. trough 2cm wood like butter, no lost steps.(woodrouter is whith leadscrew and bigger(plasma) is with rack and pinion) Kelly says: Step pulses from KCam can sound uneven or lost steps are suspected. Here are some things to reduce this probem: In the KCam's Table Setup window: Check the Hide Axis Cursor parameter Check the Disable Position Update parameter Check the Limit Switch Disable parameter Change Application Priority to High Be sure to use the Ramping feature to avoid lost steps In MS Windows: Disable the Local Area Connection (NIC) Exit all other applications Disable other applications or 3rd party tools from starting with Windows Stop unnessary Services in Windows with an easy to use script: http://www.kellyware.com/anonymous/S...icesScript.zip it works much smoother without jerks. |
