max stepper comands

Does anyone knows the instruction or protocol used by kcam and max stepper?
In other words, I'd like to control my cnc machine with a microcontroller commanded by kcam.

Yes, please... I want information too! These serial commands are undocumented, and I would definately like to try this software with the CNC I am building.
