    Default K2 CNC distance problems

several months ago i upgraded my computer and software, i had some issues getting things up and running again and some of you FINE folks helped me out !
I recently discovered that its not actually cutting the proper size or scale. over the course of 22" its off by 3/8", meaning if i lay a ruler down and manual jog the machine to the 22" on the ruler, the computer reads 22.375
so I'm trying to figure out how to correct this, thought I would run it by you guys, i'm hoping its something simple. its off on all axis, X,Y and Z
thanks for any help, suggestions or assistance.

    Bootleg,

I am assuming you are running Mach3 and if so the "steps per" in the motor tuning has not been set accurately.

Mach3 has a axis calibration utility on the settings page that will correct the issue.

There are several YouTube tutorials that explain the procedure.

Attached are several that may help.

    Bootleg,

What control software are you using?
