I just ordered my Joe 2006 kit and I'm looking for advice on the motors and controllers. I'm leaning toward the Keling inc 3 axis package with the 36v power supply. It seems that the Hobby CNC package is popular with the Joe 2006 build. I don't mind soldering my own boards, but it is not saving that much money and it appears that the Keling package has better components. Anyone have any advice on this? |

| Well some people who built the 2006 machine used the hobbycnc kit on their 4x4 machine built, by using the 305 kit and adding an extra 4th axis later on. and same for the Keling package, other than upgrading their PSU. I would always plan for expansion. |
