Just something to keep the 2 1/2 hp route from dancing all over the place, a versatile mount for other gadgets, and a movable dust collector. Got the bearing dirt cheap on eBay and a 1/2 X 8 X 78 alum bar was $70 at the local supplier (and there is plenty of it leftover). I figured that if I have a machine that can carve, let it carve some parts for itself first.
