    what kind of spacers are between the bearing and the angle aluminum on the 06 r2 joes

    i got the keling 3 axis gecko 540 kit i think they are 385 oz nema 23 bipolar motors with a 48v/7.5 amp power supply

    bkboggy We wired up some of the gecko serials today and well the pdf and xml at www.geckodrive.com are pretty self explanitory on the wiring and setup for the g540 . if there is any question just ask!

    the only question I have about the g540 is how do you know how many steps per unit to put the motors on because the 540 goes on the fly 1/4 step 1/2 step ect. ?

    they are 10 microstepping the other is a morphing feature.

    200 x 10 x TPI = SPI. You must calibrate this in case of mechanical irregularities:

    Zero Mach axis DROs. Jog each axis a measured distance. Check that actual travel matches DRO. If it does NOT, then tweak steps up or down as needed. You can use decimal fractions if necessary.
