I have built a cnc using the instructions from buildyourcnc but notice that when the axis move I get a creaking noise? Will this be the bearings or angle.

Also has anyone tried both, angle and round bar, and if so what would be better?

or should I now use my machine and cut out the joes 2006 plans? table size is 220mm x 500mm?
