    Metric or Fractional T-Slot material?

Plans for Joe's Hybrid 4X4 CNC router called for metric T-Slot material. Why metric instead of fractional?

does not matter, the metric was cheaper, and the machine has tolerances built in that will let either work, the distance differences are not that much.

I looked through the online catalog from the company called "80/20 Inc". I couldn't believe it that they have almost everything but the kitchen sink for building anything.
