I am not aware of anyone doing it.
For woodworking .009 per foot is plenty of accuracy. You really need only .020 - .030 for wood. Wood will move quite a bit with moisture changes.
Also, realize that you may be off by .009, but the repeatability is good, so you will be of the same .009 each time you pass that point on the screw. The fact that the measurement is 1.009 instead of 1.000 is not as important as the fact that each time you hit the same 1.009
98940A105 is what I used and I think many others as well.
