| Yes as stated before, I did this because MDF is not always 1/2" wide depends on where the outlet gets their material from, if you want you can change it back to 1/2" but i did run into this problem getting material from lowes and Homedepot, even between different Homedepot stores themselves. In a perfect world it would work but we do not live in a perfect world. Joe |

| Sheet goods (including MDF) plywood, chipboard, depending on supplier can vary as much as a 1/16" of an inch less and sometimes a hair over. You should get your material and mic a sheet and make the adjustments necessary before cutting everything. |

| With Gorilla glue, you don't really want a gap. The expanded foam is actually very weak. You can have much tighter joints than with regular wood glue, because the Gorilla glue acts like a lubricant and tight joints will slide together easily.

I second that, titebond is the best, I never understand the need for gorilla glue at all, I do woodwork every day and have never seen the need for it. |
