    Hey all,

Does anyone know the max x,y,and z possible with a joecnc.

Also is there an option for 4th axis?

Is there any where i can buy a kit?

I can't help you with the cutting area, but Joe does indeed sell full kits, he will cut all the parts for you and ship them right to your door for a fee, however, if you are in the UK I'm not sure if it would work that way. Joe is the man to talk to, however, why not shoot him a PM?

Oh, and by the way, welcome to the forum!!

    I'm at work so I can't measure mine, but I think it's 24"x48"x6" max
    I haven't seen anybody do a 4th axis on a Joe before.
I haven't cut styrofoam yet, but don't you use a hot wire to cut that?

    Hey Guys,

Thanks for the replies, will pm jo, i did try to send a mail using the group but not sure if it was successful.

I have seen hotwires used for foam and will probably use one for cutting wing cores but to cut a jet fuselage like a f15, 18 etc etc for example i think would be quite a complicated process to get the detail. Where with a router i could split it to top and bottom sections and route a more complex shape.

Anyone feel free to correct me here as i am totally new to this.

4th Axis, sure but you would have to add it. Kit, contact joe, via PM (private message) on this forum if you haven't already. Max cutting area depending on material thickness and bit should be around 5-6" on the z and 24" x 48" on the table.
