My Second Router Build This time Joe's CNC Model 2006

I finally fixed My JRGO Model I made a couple of years ago that got damaged when I left the shop door open in a heavy downpour and I made a few plaques out of it to give to Several Cat Snipes who worked for me as they were leaving to go to other commands or leaving the service. Now that I'm forced to retire from the service due to High year tenure-20yrs ( woowhoo). and Looking for another Career to embark on. I've found out that I have a little extra time for my self. So Ive started the Long aurduous journey in building one of these machines.

Before I go any further I need to give some Thanks where Thanks are due.

First: I would like to thank JRGO if it wasnt for his easy to follow and sound plans that he posted I would have never entered into this hobby.

Second: A big Thanks to JoeChevy2000: With your help through out the last couple of years; from My Projector Build on Lumenlab, You helped me figure out how to use EMC and guided my self and others through the many informative posts that you've authored and providing the Joe's CNC Model 2006 for all to build.

Finally thankyou to Tony from Vectric your company's program Vcarve is the most user friendly programs for this hobby that I've been able to use. and with out me having access to the program I would not have been able to honor those people who deserved it.

Here the first pieces that I'm going to cut out.

You cut those on a jgro machine? Doesn't that machine have a rather small cutting area? How are you going to cut the long pieces for the base?

Thats a good question, I was figuring when I get done cutting all the small pieces I can cut with the JRGO as it is right now I'm going extend out the x axis by using longer gas pipes and steel square tubing for bed and base box lay a sheet of 1/2 mdf on top and cut out the larger pieces.using the 1/2 sheet of mdf as a sacrificial sheet.

Very good start so far, I like the idea of extending the jgro, you can also use paprt templetes as other have done.

I do love the V-Carve software i have the whole suite, excellent software.
