What happened to the model 2006 r-2?

I've been gone for a few months so I apologize for this question.

What happened to the 2006 r-2? I can't find references to it anywhere.

The pics all look like 1/2" material on the Z carriage so I'm guessing the r-2 got renamed to r-1?
