Since all the holes are same distance from left 0.375 and right side1.125. and the top of the angle 2". I juse made a template from 1/4"x1" steel.I made it same size as Z axis just align it on top and then drill ( I made the template with 5/32 holes) on other axis, just align left side clamp drill unclamp slide over to other edge (rightside) clamp and drill. flip over angle repeat... I was having problem with not getting holes exactly the same ( cheap drill press) |

| Glenn, Sorry about that, I misunderstood what you were asking for. Here are the dwg files I did to use as a template: x_axis_bearing_support.dwg y_axis_bearing_support.dwg z_axis_bearing_support.dwg I print them out using the 1:1 setting "centered" then used a straight edge and a razor knife to cut them out. Double check the print out to verify that it's to scale prior to drilling Bob |

As I have a 2500# CNC Milling Machine at home, and would like it to start earning it's keep - I thought some people here might want to just buy the bearing mounts (the angle iron) pre-drilled accurately and ready to go. Would anyone here be interested in buying these? If so - what would you be willing to pay? Thanks CNC-Joe CNC-Joe <at symbol> comcast dot net

| I'd be willing to buy the angles precut and drilled. Not sure what the value is... I'm basically lazy so this is a way to not have to drag out the drill vise and toys and setup for this. If you come up with a price tag let me know. I'm guessing just cut and drilled they would be worth something on the order of $5 plus material cost. |
