    06 build (hand tools)

I'm starting a Joe's 06 from Kelvoden's plans. He has all of the parts separated into dxf files and then pdf notes on each part. Well worth the money. I was able to download the plans immediately after using paypal to send the funds.

I'm not one to usually start a project thread, but since many start cnc projects and never finish, I'm hoping this gives me extra incentive to keep moving along. So I'm starting by opening each dxf in the free solidworks viewer (eDrawings 2011). I print the parts to cutepdf at 1:1 scale. From acrobat reader I'm able to tile print each part, and add cutmarks and page notes. From here, I'll make lines for the jigsaw.

All the mdf is bought and laying in the garage.

I have a feeling that madness lies ahead..

    Also a Kelvoden customer

    Garfong,
I also bought those plans from Kelvoden today. To be honest, I am blown away about how many drawings you get in the package, and how well they are done. For 20 bucks you can't beat it (Anyone interested, he is at kelvoden@gmail.com). Also plan on using only hand tools to complete the build.
Good luck to you, hope your build goes well.
I am in full planning mode right now trying firm up my BOM, so my descent into madness starts by next weekend.
