I have been using the EMC Linux as my controller and find it adequate. I am also using photo vcarve and vcarve pro as well. I would recommend getting this setup as it will give you great flexibility at an economical price. You can import the photo into vcarve and create some really neat products. The manual tool changing takes a little to figure out, just reset the z and leave the others alone. You are going to love this machine! I have been carving up a storm for about a year now. Caution there is a steep learning curve ahead, lots of trial and error while learning. This is the most helpful site around for the machine. Vectric has some excellent support forums as well. Keep at it! |
