Hello, I was wondering if anyone uses the PC 7518 router in a joe2006. Right now I have a craftsman 320.24600 and its diameter is 3.5" .The PC is a monster with a diameter of 4.25". I was also wondering if the joe2006 could handle the extra weight of the PC.....you think that would be an issue? |

| Hi Joe, the motors are #23-305-DS8A 425oz-in bipolar rating, 305oz-unipolar rating, 4.2v, 3A, 200 S/R, 3.2mH, Size #23, Dual Shaft, 8 wire MOST power consumed, best with idle current reduction. I am new to CNC and bought my machine 2nd hand. I am still not sure about a lot of stuff. I have a friend who does all the 3d to nc work for me then I just run the code. There are some accuracy issues with the table and first want to eliminate the router as one problem. I did measure the run out but can’t seem to find the values that I came up with at the moment. On the manual for the router it is model number 320.24600 but on the inside of the manual the parts are listed for the 320.17540 I did a Google but couldn’t find anything on them.....must be an odd ball. I was wondering if there are any tutorials that systematically take you threw step by step the process to calibrate the motors and explain how to measure for run out in the table. |
