| Howdy. I'm in melbourne Australia and about to embark on my first build. Would love to do the 4x4 but budget will only stretch to the 2006... for now. Can someone please tell me if the plans and or kit includes the option for Rack and pinion, and if there is any advantage on such a small machine. Ta. And gudday from Downunder. |

| The stock Joes 2006 plans do not have any options for Rack and Pinion. Some one out there may have done one but I dont know what you will find for plans. From lerking arounf the forums I can say most people do not use Rack and pinion untill their machines reach a length that they start to get whip on thier Acme screws. On a machine this size you should not need to worry about that. |
