    Missing steps

    Hi guys,

    working on my first machine and I am using a Hobbycnc pro controller and mach3. I set up motors the same but my Y axis is missing steps. Any help would be greatful.

    Your accel might be too fast in mach3.
    Your top speed might be too fast
    Check if there is binding in the Y axis. You willl need to remove the lead screw and push the gantry along the rails, it should be smooth all the way.

    Jason,......Thanks for the info. I found the problem with the motor not aligned correctly. But, I fixed it.
