    Surfacing the spoil board

What is the best way to pocket the spoil board to get it in the same plane as the router?

I tried using the pocket wizard in Mach3 but could not get it to work.

    I have V-Carve Pro.

Should I just create the spoil board as a peice of material and just set it to pocket the entire surface?

Any suggestions what to seal the MDF with?

    Thanks,
    Rick

I Just Draw a rectangle 48.25" x 96.25" using Turbocad, and load the DXF file to DeskCNC and Pocket the rectangle. I overlap the bit by about 15%. You can adjust the size for your machine.

There is an App someone wrote to automatically generate the gcode to surface your spoil board. It takes the table size, bit size, stepover and Z depth as varables. I will look the URL tonight.
