Hi, can somebody suggest me a few options for leadscrews that are available from europe and not expensive ? i found some trapezoidal screws from ebay but dont know if they are good. thanks ron  |

| Here are some in the U.K. Marchant-Dice, they also sell on e-bay. I have bought from them with no problems. On-Drives, they distribute Huco-Dynatork products. there may be a distributer closer to you. In the Netherlands Damen-CNC also sells trapezoidal leadscrews. good luck! |

| I am gathering parts to build my first machine and this morning went to the car scrap yard and bought a 'scissor jack' with the longest screw I could find, I hope it will do nicely for the Z axis drive, 10tpi x 1/2" (13mm) dia. can not think of what would have a longer acme thread for the X and Y in though, maybe someone else has ideas (apart from allthread) ? |
