Let us know if you find some good plugins for it, and I'll do the same.
I really like SolidWorks, but my copy was a older version that was a gift from and old friend that upgraded, it's 2005, and a little dated but will still do most everything I need, I also use some AutoCAD at work. I had tried Alibre Express as a viewer at work for IGES files and found it to be a pretty good program for the money. When they had the $99 deal on Ver 11.2 I picked up a copy and started learning it and moving my SW files over. I have the "Standard" version but am thinking of upgrading to Pro.

    Will it ever end?

It’s been a wile… I have the good old JGRO running and am making parts for my next machine. I toyed with the idea of a Joe’s 2006 and or Lion Claw LC50, but I have pretty much settled on a knockoff of the “Blacktoe” I have completed a ruff layout for the machine, it’s incomplete at present. But I’m working on it.
