I am looking to order most of the parts first so I can see how they go together before i cut the wood.. I was wondering about part numbers for the bearing flanges.. what size and all that fun stuff.. I was looking on mcmaster.com for those as per jgro. Also I was reading somewhere in here about using galvinized pipe instead on black because it is smoother... but is it as strong? any thoughts? |

| I posted to your other post about embedding 1/2" bearings instead of flange bearings, but if you're using 1/4" rod the flange bearing I bought from McMaster Carr, the one in JGRO plans, is part number 6383K213 "Steel Ball Bearing Flanged Open for 1/4" Shaft Dia, 11/16" Od, 5/16" W In stock at $2.79 Each" |
