| I believe most bearing designations are metric so it is likely 8mmX22mm which is a 608 bearing and is very common. (I am now ducking to avoid the wrath of NCCams, who will beat me severely if this information is less than 105% accurate and complete) Scott

| If it is 8mm x 22mm x 7mm, it is a 608 and yes, it is a very, very common small motor bearing. HOWEVER, router bearings tend to be "specials" in that they are highly tested and/developed items. That is, the seals, grease, grease fill and clearance are finely tuned to make a lowly 608 live in most electric motor applications. Generic 608's may work but they might not live as well as the OEM parts did. I only beat people when/if they really deserve it. Otherwise, merely the fear of retribution usually suffices in keeping the troops in order.... |

| Can't you get pipe in Italy? You might have to modify the design to use a different size pipe but it seems easier to do that than to try to import a length of pipe or two. Scott
