Well after a little hiatus i'm back at it. It's time for me to order some acme threaded rod. I'm just wondering what most people have been going with for there jgro. Thinking of going 1/2 -10 , 2 start . My stepper motors are 380 oz. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help. |

| What you have listed is a really good choice for the JGRO design. I have been using 5/8" 11 tpi single start all-thread and it moves really nice but I think the 2 start will move you a little faster and your steppers are more than powerful enough to handle what you throw at it. Tom |

| I went 1/2 - 10 Single and after using it for a while I think that 2 start would be more appropriate.
