Hell CNCZone! I'm embarking on my first cnc router, and I'd like to be able reuse the parts in successive builds. The JGRO plans look like they have specs for putting together just about everything, but if i've got the extra dough, should I go ahead and buy the anti-backlash screws etc? dumpstercnc.com seems to have just about everything I'll need. I understand the couplings, and anti-backlash leadnuts, but I could use a little help in figuring out how the acme leadscrews will terminate in the non stepper end of the machine. Will the corresponding acme rods from McMaster-Carr work in these parts? What about precision Acme rods? Stainless? And finally are there any other suppliers within a similar price range that I should check out? Thanks in advance, you've built a great community. |
