| I was looking through a jet engine overhaul manual recently and ran across this strange (to me) procedure. When replacing the main burner and afterburner igniter plugs they say to coat the threads with milk of magnesia ! Anybody have any clue as to what purpose this serves? I thought it was as antisieze but in other procedures in the same area they specify an antisieze compound. So, I'm confused (again). robotic regards, Tom |
