Thumbs up Solid model

Yeah I wish I could get my hands on a good set of Solidworks models of the IH castings and assembly.

Oh oh.

Just what I need, another project before I can get my mill CNC'd and back together!

LOL

I wouldn't mind having one myself though. Will give it some thought.

What are you guys going to use the CAD model to do? For example, one purpose would be designing enclosures and stands, in which case it's really just a matter of the work envelope and a pretty simple project that could be done from the data on the IH site.

Exact drawings of all the castings is a lot more trouble.

Cheers,

BW

Hi Bob

I'd like a CAD model of the Mill too, I've got one coming but Australia is a fair way away so it will still be a while before it comes, but I'd like to start an enclosure before it gets here.

Once Ive got it and while I'm converting it to CNC I dont mind measuring up some castings and making up a more detailed CAD model to share with everyone.
