any of you guys have a plan sheet for an edgefinder and center finder. I know i can buy one but i was looking to see if it would be a fun project to try and build one.

I "built" the one that Aaron has on his website under the "Touch Probe." This is a modification of a Fowler electronic edge finder to be a touch probe. Using G31 commands with a slow feed makes edge finding really slick on conductive materials.

It's a copy of the Renishaw patent, I believe. Very nicely done!
