| Cog and Belt Drives for Stepper Motors This is a lame question but guessing someone out there has an extremely good answer. I'm wanting to build a fairly large CNC table designed similar to an old graph plotter where the X and Y are belt driven. It won't see much if any torque so it won't need any oversized belts, etc. but it does need to be accurate and fairly repeatable. Where are some good places to get cog wheels and matched belts that would have 24" - 36" of travel? I would connect these cog wheels to a stepper so any advice or pointers would be appreciated. |
