    IH steps per

    I had a computer crash not to long ago and i lost my xml file. i was wondering if someone could tell me what the step per setting should be for the x and y and z axis on the IH cnc mill.

    I'm pretty sure its 2000 steps per inch, but you may have to double check that.

    I think it is 20,000 to start, then use the utility to refine it from there what with the variable of the pitch diam of the wheels.
    Then make copies of it and save your xml & tool file.
    I keep files on a flash drive as well as other locations, dated and up to date !

    yeah that was my goof. i thought i had it all backed up but it ended up being a really early file and not the latest on i had.
