communication for index cnc lathe

hi everybody i'm new in this stuff for communicate pc and machines, i have to communicate some Index CNC lathe machines and i really don't have any idea about it, what i have is just the accesories for doing so (cable) i would like to recieve some help the machines are index 800, index 600, index 42 i would be grateful if somebody can help me
