    Warner & Swasey problem

We have just bought a used Warner & Swasey turning centre WSC 3 equipped with Fanuc OT model A. It was perfectly fine but suddenly it's turret head was making noise while indexing. Then we dismantle the turret head, we found it's turret clamp declamp hyd. cylinder's piston check nut got loosen. we reassemble the turret head. Now we facing couple of following problems:

---We can not index turret by FWD or REV.
---While ref. the turret by pressing IndexFWD & IndexREV button, it's start running without stopping at ref. position. 504PS alarm we are getting. I suppose it's encoder got damaged. I found encoder made by Encoders Uk Ltd. model: SP113083-3000PPR, 5-30VDC. could you tell me it's technical details. either it is absolute or incremental encoder.
---I can clamp delamp the hyd. chuck by foot switch but clamp declamp annuciator could not get changed. As I can not run spindle without chuck clamp confirmation signal.
--- How do I align turret encoder with respect to commanded tool. i.e. commanded tool #1 = tool disk tool #1.
As I don't have it's electrical daigram, maintenance manuals. even it is Fanuc OT model A, I can see it's ladder diagram.
Kindly help me to solve my problem.
