does anyone know of a supplier that makes split sleeve roller bearings in sizes like 3/8 and 1/2 inch id. #2-- what do most people use to make split sleeve bearings out of. any other comments along these lines would be appreciated. |

| thomson shafting/bearings: http://www.danahermotion.com/website...ment/ALMTG.pdf they offer recirculating ball type and also nylon ones, mounted pillow or bushing. depending on your application the nylon ones are very affordable, only somewhat less so are the ball type in the size you mention. i've made my own... but i would advise against going there unless you feeling like playing around. |
