hey felleas i have this crazy idea that a old rotary would make a nice compressor for a shop. not that i need one as i have a craftsmen compresor already. it is just that i have a old engine a spair 60 gallon air tank and a 18 hp lawn mower motor just sitting around. please convince me ya or na on this idea for some reason i think it would be cool. and do not give it a second thought about bursting my bubble |

| lol there is some thinking i just wanted see if any body had some ideas do some talking. i just recently let the lawn mower motor go to someone that needed it more than me. so i will have to look for a electric motor or something cheap to power it or i might just let is sit for 4 more years in the corner of my gerage |

I saw a radial air compressor at an engine show a few years ago. It was built just like a radial but every other cylinder was pumping air. This was a manufactured item probably circa 1950's. It was painted yellow, can't remember the manufacturer. Julian |
