Hyundai Hit8S and a rotary phase converter

I am trying to run my Hyundai 8S with a 40HP RPC.
It does OK at low RPM's but at spindle speeds above 1650
I get an error message 9100 Servo not ready.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Have you checked your voltage. It should be 220 +/- 10%, ie. 208-242V with preference at the lower end. Also the legs should all be within 4-5 volts of each other.
