Hyundai HiT-15s tool eye issue

I am helping someone with a used Hyundai HiT 15s lathe. Whenever we touch any tool to the tool eye probe, we immediately get an error 2041 "N0 - Program does not exist in memory". We have a part program loaded, but I think this may be refering to the program the tool eye uses to write the tool offsets to memory. I have looked through the manuals, but no luck. Has anyone had this problem before? The lathe is "new" to him, so I don't know if the tool eye was working before the machine was delivered. We are also learning the Seimens 840C control, so please don't rule out the obvious.

I am also having the same problem with my HIT 15s and I am also new to the Seimens 840c control.
After i tried to use the tool eye I got a collision alarm when I just moved next to the tool eye, since then I get the same alarm when trying to use the TOA/ZOA CALC screen.
Any Help is welcome.

Hey guys, I have the same issue, I'm new to the siemens 840C controller and I'm having the same alarm while trying to measure the tools, were you able to fix your problem?, I'll appreciate your help, thanks
