    having some cutting issues

ok to start off i am running a sector table with a burny lcd10 and a hypertherm hd260 the nesting program is pronest 2010. the problem i am having is some times the lead in and out don't match up. when i load the nest it looks fine and the whole way thought the cut process it looks good. but some where during the cut process it looses its self and will cut short or long on the parts so the lead in and out don't match up. it seems more prevalent on the x axises. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Your system uses servo motors with built in encoders. Since the encoders track distance...and rotate exactly the same as the motor...then I would suspect that a pinion gear on that axis may be slipping.

Best bet is to call tech service at Sector Technology in Lexington Kentucky...and they will be able to talk you through troubleshooting.

It could be....the machine could lose position in xPlus, then possibly regain it in X minus if it was a loose pinion...or a loose gearbox. Best bet is to work with Sector's tech service. The encoders cannot normally lose position...and the Burny CNC cannot normally lose position...they are all digitally controlled and if they get out of position the system will immediately stop.
