Powermax 85 and 1.5mm stainless

Hello Jim
Can you reCommend some cutting data?
Using a CandCNc system with a PM 85, can cut at 7m a min, mechanised system with a machine torch with digital torch height control.
With these parameters where would you start , maybe fine cut consumables at what sort of speeds and heights?
Thanks

I would recommend the specifications right out of the Powermax85 operators manual....and best cuts would likely be using the consumables and specifications for the Fine Cut consumables......although the 45 amp shielded parts will do almost as nice of a cutting job (slightly wider kerf, faster speeds, longer consumable life).

The Finecut parts will need about 6.4 meters/min....the 45 amp shielded specs are listed for about 8 meters/min on 1.5mm stainless....but the process is pretty forgiving and will work at slower speeds.

If you do not have the cut charts or the manual I can forward them through direct email...this site will not let me paste a cut chart directly...
