    New to Plasma, need advice.

Just bought a unopened Hypertherm 1650 G3 from a company that went bankrupt before it was ever used. Price was low so we jumped on it. Before we hook it up to our CNC machine using the hand torch for now, I was hoping some of you plasma gurus could point me at some essential reading. My experience with plasma cutters is exactly zero, and I'm hoping someone might be able to suggest some things to avoid.

    Here's hoping!
    Cheers,

The Hypertherm unit has a very comprehensive, thorough manual. It is about 3/4" thick....start reading and you will learn a lot! Get the unit powered up, do some hand cutting (the manual offers some great advice for beginners).

And, thanks for buying a Hypertherm product...from the employee/owners of the company!
