Hi, had a quick question, I've always changed both the nozzle and electrode as pairs- is that neccessary? If the nozzle is damaged from bad pierces or what not, the electrode is still good- so is it ok to just change the nozzle?

| Yes....nozzles in many cases (on an air plasma torch) do not last as long as the electrode. There is no need to change them both every time. The Hypertherm operators manuals have a great section that describes how to inspect the consumables for wear. Jim Colt |
