 So I was cutting along just enjoying my day and all of a sudden the torch just shut off. After trying this and that I pulled the machine torch apart and found this. Do I replace the whole assembly or can I somehow just fix the torch part? I was cutting 1/2" plate at 80amps with a 80 tip, 49ipm.  |

| Talking with Hypertherm I was told its something that eventually happens over time. I guess as the plunger moves up and down it flexs the copper high current wires and sometimes they break...over time enough break to cause the meltdown. And there is no way to fix it short of buying new leads, new torch parts...or just buying a new assembly. Oh well nothing to do but order a new one. OUCH!!!! |

| Can you send me some more pics to my direct email address, also the system serial number? I'd like to investigate this a bit closer.
