For some reason your machine appears to be running very slow on some segments, and seems to get up to speed on longer straight cuts. In order to get best quality with plasma the speed must be constant, and must be very close to the specifications provided in the Hypertherm manual. I cannot tell what pwer level or consumables you are using, but from the apparent speed and brightness of the arc, it looks as though you may be using too much power, not enough cut speed for the material you are cutting. It is always best to use the smallest consumables and lowest power for the material you are cutting....if you want the best quality.

Overall...it looks like you are getting close! Nice work!

Thanks for checking our work out ,we need all the ideas. We are now not having issues with lead in lead out bad cuts or torch on/ off not working properly thats resolved .But on an intricate cut its sort of blows a hole ,so we stay away from that sort of cut.
Here is the settings we used and thought it was right out of the manual--1/8 steel, pierce height (thickness of a nickel) pierce delay .08, speed 220 arc voltage 134 sitting on 60 amp
We feel we 're getting better cuts now and we're happy with but maybe some fine tuning would help.
I am not real fussy with flashcut i use mach3 on my machine but its not plasma its a router.I am going to try mach3 on the grog's machine this week ,just to see how it will pick up.
    thanks again

For 1/8" (with my HT1250), I normally use "Fine Cut" consumables (or 40amp shielded nozzles) and cut at 40amps. I dont have my notes with me here but I think I cut somewhere around 60ipm or so with my arc feedrate somewhere in the mid-30ipm.

It appears you have your "arc feedrate" too slow. Mine cuts well between 60%-70% of my straightline speed. If you're running an auto torch height controller, slowing down too much will cause the material to burn away and the torch will dive into the material. It looked like your torch was making some contact in the arcs in your video.

Once your speed/heat is adjusted properly, the torch height shouldn't vary much when going around a curve.. If the difference between your straight line and arc feedrates is too much, the torch will jump up as you enter a straight line causing your kerf to widen.
