Building CNC Table - Powermax 45 | | I just finished ordering most of my parts and equipment today to complete a 4x4 plasma table. - 4x4 Precison Plasma Gantry Kit with Belt Reduction
- CandCNC Bladerunner AIO Plasma Kit with DHTC and 620 motors
- Hypertherm Powermax 45
- Sheetcam and Mach 3
I'm sure Jim can chime in and recommend me the best mechanized torch and accessories to purchase. I was looking at buying a Powermax 1250, but the rave reviews of this Powermax 45 sold me, and also that Jim is cutting some very nice parts on his table. Jim - if you get a chance can you let me know what you recommend I purchase for my Powermax 45? I hope you know that your postings here and on other forums really sold me on Hypertherm and especially this machine. I wish I was closer to NH to take you up on that plant tour as that would be so cool!
Anyhow I want to get a mechanized torch to pair with the table and keep the hand torch for hand cutting. I'm not 100% sure I'll do that first off, but its' in the cards. Anyhow I have not ordered anything but the machine and torch itself at this point.
$1530 on Ebay with free shipping plus $122 cash back from bing.com! Not a bad price at all, and I figure I won't hurt too badly after selling my TD Cutmaster 51. I can't wait to get everything delivered and let the building begin! |
