Default supply voltage of HD4070 078087

    hello

currently we re engaged in CNC Flame cutting business.
i am new to hyper-therm plasma and thinking of buying an used HD4070 (078087) im getting a good deal, but its supply is 480v 60hz 3phase and in india where i need the machine has 440v 50hz 3phase supply , i would like to be guided if it could be used in india, some machines have different taping for different voltages is it the case in above.

im planing to cut MS and SS 1mm to 25mm with better then powermax systems do you i must go with hd4070 cause other new hyper-therm products are costly for me.

    any help would be appreciated.

attaching the name plate with model no for reference.

    regards
    rajan

The HD4070 can only operate at the voltage and frequency listed on its data tag. Be aware that the HD 4070 is an older product that has not been manufactured for almost 15 years. Many of the internal components (circuit boards, onboard computer, etc.) are no longer available or serviceable. Jim Colt Hypertherm

Thankyou very much for your prompt reply.

I am getting 2 hd4070 so I have one for spares. And I'm getting them dirt cheap.

Would like to know if I can use and variable frequemcy drive. It has option for 480v output and can be set to 60hz I have an good quality Hitachi 45kw drive with me. Do you think the plasma can work with that?

    Thanks in advance

    Regards
    Rajan
