    tool databases (libaray) in acess

    hi

    since the tool data base that came with hypermill in metric and good advise for starting new ones for imperial tools (inch)

    the help files on this are not that good so any help would be appreciated.

    The thing you have to type in is the chipload and surface speed. This is as you know a function of a lot of factors. This is the table I made up years ago. What numbers do you use? You put this info on the tool tab and then go to the NC Tool tab to pare tools with holders. I just put in a few of my holders that I use all the time.
