It's similar to a folder, and files in a folder.

The joblist is a high level organizational structure. Items defined in the jobs list and common throughout all of the jobs (operations) within. This may include stock model, coordinate system, postprocessor, etc.

The jobs are individual machining steps or operations. This could be 2D, 3D, 5x, drilling, or turning cycles.
