The new License Manager utility is easy to use with nice feedback from the customer base. The regional offices and headquarters can also monitor the installation statistics. And the quantity (lower than expected) and quality (good) questions to our support lines confirms the smooth transition.

So the *.pak file is not used any longer? The old dongle is still used but why? Where is this going?

We were able to move the old dongle to any machine we were working at. I moved mine from my desktop to my laptop when I went out to my remote machine shop.
Yes, the process is the same, even better. The dual dongle situation is part of a transition process. OPEN MIND can work with you to modify the license to utilize only the new dongle.
The new dongle is more portable than the old, when you previously had to move the pak file and the dongle. In the new system, the dongle is programmed and also includes the license content.
