    Been gone awhile!

Just started back to work after a 2 year vacation. (not by choice. A Michigan resident) I have used hypermill and MTD for 12 years to design and cut prototype die's.

    Welcome to our forum!

Are you using MDT still? Inventor?

Yes, still using MDT. I design in Unigraphic's nx 4, so the company won't update my hypermil.

Of course there are many improvements to hyperMILL since "MDT" days. The enhancements are in calculation quality, automation, enhanced technical feedback, simulations, and more.

hyperMILL can also read NX files, whether in hyperCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
