There is a local listing for a HURCO Hawk 5D with Autocon Dynapath CNC. They say the Vari-Drive (speed change) bearings need to be replaced. It seems a rebuild kit runs about $400 and it seems like something I could do myself. The price seems/is right. My experience with CNC machines is limited to my little Taig CNC so any advice on what to watch for will be appreciated. Thank you. S |

| If it's like our hawks, we have very little problems with the machines themselves, just the dam Hurco controls. Dynapath would be a huge improvement for reliability, but operators love the Hurco controls. I love the dynapaths. |
